2005 Vendor Information and Application

VENDOR APPLICATION DEADLINE: JULY 15

Greetings! This page will tell you what you need to know about vending at Zimfest. If you’re interested in applying, please complete the vendor application form below and we’ll get back to you right away.

Market Location

The marketplace and the afternoon concerts will be just a short walk from the dorm/registration/workshop “village” through a tunnel and up a small rise to the south end of campus. The market will be all along the front of the brand new Communications Bldg. There is a slight overhang of the building for most vendors with some spilling out onto the grass between the building and the walkway.

There is little shade and you should bring your own easy-up, lawn umbrella or tarp arrangement to provide your own sun protection. You may want to collaborate with other vendors to do this.

The marimba builders and hosho folks will be back around a corner from this in another grassy area, easily seen but hopefully not heard. That is because the afternoon concerts will be in the grassy field across the walkway from the Marketplace so that vendors can still see and hear some of the concerts. In case of rain, the marketplace will be able to move inside the Communications Bldg. which has big wide hallways.
