2005 Change and Cancellation Policies

Participants may make any on-line changes to workshops up to July 31, but all additional payments due must be postmarked by July 31. From July 31 to August 4 changes cannot exceed that amount that you have paid for. NO changes will be allowed after August 4.
On-line registration will be closed from August 5 through August 11 to allow time to consolidate the data and print out confirmation forms to be included in each participant’s registration packet.
If you are unable to attend Zimfest, requests for refunds will be allowed. E-mail requests will be accepted through August 4 (mailed to registration@zimfest.org); requests by mail should be postmarked by July 31. Refund checks, minus a $15 administrative fee (US funds) and minus any Pay Pal surcharges (if payment was made on-line), will be issued several weeks after the festival.
A full refund can be given for housing reservations cancelled by July 31. If you cancel your reservation after July 31, you will be issued a refund minus a $50 university fee. Refunds will be issued several weeks after Zimfest.
Credit that occurs from making workshop changes before August 5 will be noted on the confirmation forms in the registration packets. Participants may use that credit towards another workshop, donate the credit to Zimfest or apply for a refund that will be mailed out several weeks after Zimfest. Refund requests may be made at Zimfest or by mail after Zimfest. We will not accept workshop credit refund requests postmarked after August 22.
If additional money is owed, this will be noted on the confirmation forms in the registration packets. A participant must pay all money owed at Zimfest registration before being allowed to participate.
No cancellations or changes to workshops are allowed at Zimfest. (The only exception is when the workshop teacher or content has changed because the original teacher was unable to attend the festival.) However, participants may add workshops and pay the additional fee or use credit that they have in their Zimfest account.
Zimfest reserves the right to cancel any workshop that does not have enough participants registered. Those who are registered for cancelled workshops will be offered the opportunity to enroll in other open workshops or apply for a refund.
